Mr. Harry Wayne Allen aged 61 years, passed away Monday, March 14, 1966 at 6:30 pm in the Selby General Hospital in Marietta, OH, after an illness.
Mr. Allen, son of the late Emanual and Maude Prior Allen, was born April 7, 1904 in Manchester Township, Morgan County, where he grew to manhood.
On August 3, 1925, he was united in marriage to Miss Belva West. They lived for many years in Center Township, Morgan County, where they operated a farm. In the year 1950 they moved to Waterford, Ohio and for the past 15 years Mr. Allen was employed by the United Dairy Company of Waterford.
Those left to mourn their loss sustained in his passing are: his widow, three sons and one daughter. One son Robert Richard Allen died in infancy. Internment: Smith Chapel Cemetery

Obituary - The Marietta Times Beverly - William Frederick Allen, 81, of Beverly, Ohio, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday (July 31, 2010) at Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly.
He was born March 28, 1929, in Center Township, Morgan County, son of Harry Wayne and Belva West Allen. He was retired from Globe Metallurgical, after 33 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 389 and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3665 in Beverly and the 40&8.
He was married June 5, 1953, to Alice M. Arnold-Allen who survives. Also surviving are four children, five grandchildren, one brother, and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Franklin Allen; and an infant brother, Robert Richard Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home, Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery with military services at the grave.

She was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Morgan County, to Wayne and Belva West Allen. Mary was a homemaker, and had worked in sales and childcare. She was a Methodist by faith.
On May 3, 1953, she married ________, who survived with one son and one daughter; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildrenl; stepgrandson; two stepgreat-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Franklin, Frederick, infant brother Richard; two sisters-in-law, Helen Allen and Alice Allen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 18) at 1 p.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
