Some of the descendants of Richard Haines settled in what is now Jefferson Co., and in Harrison Co.  Among  those was Joshua Haines (b. 1790) who was my great grandfather.  Joshua had two sons, Hiram and JesseHiram married Tirza Wilson of Belmont Co. and they later come to Manchester Twp., Morgan Co. where he worked as a sandstone mason.  They where the parents of Wesley, William and Jane.
