Immigrated to the
Marmaduke and Mary came to America from England between 1811-1814 (Their first 4 children were born in England, their 5th child was born in Ohio in 1815) and eventually settled in an area near Adena, Ohio called Little York. I have found Marmaduke on the Tax Records in Smithfield Twp., Jefferson Co., Ohio as early as 1818.

Marmaduke Reynardb. 1782 (England) - d. ? (Jefferson Co., OH)
CAUTION: I have seen it listed that this is the Marmaduke Reynard that died in Jefferson Co., OH and is buried in Rehoboth Cemetery, however, that grave says that Marmaduke Reynard died in 1865 at the age of 22 (making him born around 1843). This was a grandchild of Marmaduke b. 1782. He was the son of Robert Reynard b. 1818.
There is 2nd Marmaduke Reynard listed at Rehoboth, but he died in 1886 at the age of 82 (so he was born about 1804 - Marmaduke b. 1782 would have been 104 if he lived to 1886).
A 3rd Marmaduke Reynard at Rehoboth Cemetery was b. 1811 - d. 1883 (This was the son of Marmaduke b. 1782)
None of these Marmaduke's match Marmaduke born in England in 1782.

John Reynard was born in Yorkshire, England, in 1806, and was a son of Marmaduke Reynard, who was also a native of England, where he was married to Mary Shaw, a native of Scotland. Their children were John, William, Marmaduke, James, Thomas, Joseph, Mary and Hannah. In 1817, Marmaduke Reynard came to America from Yorkshire, England, and proceeding immediately to Ohio, settled in Jefferson County, where he remained until his death.
