Married Ernest Glen Forrest b. ? - d. Jan. 12, 1945 /Married Lemuel "Jack" Malone / The Marietta Times: Margaret R. Malone, 87, of Canal Winchester and formerly of Lowell, peacefully passed away Tuesday (March 29, 2011) while visiting her daughters in Zephyrhills, Fla.
She is survived by one brother. She leaves behind her loving daughters, ; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel "Jack" Malone; stepdaughter and husband, ; her parents, Clyde and Velma Smith; sister, Hazel; brothers and spouses, Encil and Dorothy, Vernon and Ruth, Lester and Eleanor, Leroy and Wilsie; sister-in-law, Betty; two nieces; and two nephews.
She was retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital. Margaret was a 67-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 750. She will be greatly missed, and the impact she had on her loved ones will be remembered always. The family will receive friends at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Ernest Glen Forrest, 22, was killed in action on Jan. 12, while serving with Gen. Patton's 3rd Army in Belgium. Pvt.
