Mr. William Luther West, aged 67 years, passed away at his home in Center Township, Monday, Dec. 15, 1941, at 2:00 pm from an illness of the past two weeks with pneumonia.

 

Mr. West was a son of James and Anna West and was born in Pennsylvania on May 25, 1874. He was united in Marriage with Miss Olive Wine of Wirt County, W. VA. Mr. and Mrs. West lived for a time in West Virginia. They came to Ohio 35 years ago and for the past 18 years they have resided on this farm in Center Township, Morgan County. Mr. West followed the occupation of farming his entire life.

 

Those who deeply mourn the loss sustained by Mr. West's death are: his wife, Mrs. Olive West, three daughters, Mrs. Nora Grabble of Norwich Ohio; Mrs. Cora Henderson, of Bverly, and Mrs. Belva Allen, of Coal Run Rt. 1; 11 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Frank West of Akron, Ezra West of Belville, W. VA, John West and Mrs. Cora Barth both of Whipple; other relatives and many friends. Two sons died in infancy.

 

Mr. West was a member of Center Township Grange No. 1459. Mr. West was a kind father, neighbor and friend.
